Uber XL only — no rentals. 2 XLs per trip to fit all 11 (~6 per car).

  • To/from MCO — ~$80/XL (so ~$160 each direction)
  • To/from a park — ~$35–45/XL each way (so ~$160 round trip)
  • To Disney Springs — ~$20/XL each way (~$80 round trip)
  • Surge: expect 20–40% bumps after fireworks (10 PM at MK on D8 especially). Order early.
  • Schedule airport rides the night before — D10 morning is tight.
Storey Lake free golf-cart shuttle

The resort runs a free golf-cart shuttle around the neighborhood — gets you to the clubhouse, water park, and back to the rental. No walking, no driving.

Group splitting playbook

11 people moving as one unit will ruin everyone. Pre-plan splits — adjust day-of based on energy.

Thrill team

Lucy (56") + Charlotte (51") + adults who want headliners. Hits 48"+ rides. Lucy splinters off for the 52"+ rides (Hulk, Doom, Stardust).

Mid team

Bowen (46") + flex adults. Most rides, skip the 48"+ ones.

Kid team

Briggs (42") + Louie (~43") + 1–2 adults. Kid rides, characters, snacks, naps.

  • Set explicit regroup points and times. Not "near Pirates" — say "Pirates exit, 12:30, hard stop."
  • Use Life360 (or Find My if everyone's on iPhone) so nobody is hunting.
  • Single-rider lines on Velocicoaster, Stardust Racers, Mummy, Test Track, Smugglers Run, Everest are great for adult swap-and-ride while one parent stays with the kid team.
  • Disney's "rider switch" (parent swap) lets one adult wait with the kid while the other rides — no re-queueing.
